Welcome to 2024!
Happy New Year!
As we enter 2024 we can’t help but reflect on how far things have come in the past year. When the original concept for this site was developed the vision was much more narrow. After introducing the concept to various friends and coworkers the initial goal of developing a site that catered specifically to healthcare professionals and provide access to a variety of complex concepts that we are forced to deal with everyday. The vision rapidly expanded the transition from MDHCPConnect.com (now defunct) to a broader domain allows for future expansion as time goes on. This site has been designed with expansion in mind and one day will hopefully encompass multiple states.
While it may seem like this site is entirely focused on resources in Maryland the future is bright and the possibilities are endless.
2024 Goals
The goals for this year may seem humble but being driven entirely by volunteers they are completely attainable.
- Introduce the site to MACHC and other provider offices
- Expand the Knowledgebase including topics on Pediatrics, Medication Resources, & other complex topics.
- Identify more resources for low-income/at-risk patient populations
- Add information about various reporting metrics (HEDIS, UDS, PCMH) and simplify these daunting topics.
- Add information about VFC requirements, reporting, etc.
- Add more resources including patient handouts
