Patient Assistance
This page highlights a variety of patient assistance programs to assist in obtaining prescribed medications. Pharmaceutical manufacturers are required to provide assistance for medications that are not available through a generic option these programs have various requirements however the primary requirement is generally a maximum annual income. The patients income needs to fall within the specified level above the Federal Poverty Limit (FPL).
Other resources include discount drug programs and lesser known programs available through Retail Pharmacies which can greatly reduce the cost of maintenance medications for patients.
